Presentation of the TIRAMISU project in Geneva
From 30th November to 4th December 2015, the 14th meeting of the states parties to the Ottawa Convention was held at the UN in Geneva.
Among many topics, there was a discussion on technological innovations to help mine action, during which developments of the R&D Project TIRAMISU, funded by the European Union, were presented.
The project was also presented at the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD), where suggestions for further development of the tools and R&D activities were considered in view of contributing to humanitarian demining operations.
After the project presentations, a TIRAMISU Project Management Board Meeting was held, on which project results, further activities and financial costs were discussed.
