CTRO, in cooperation with the Directorate of Civil Protection, started with the EU project entitled Comprehensive Support to the National Mine Action Sector
CTRO together with the Directorate of Civil Protection signed the Grant Agreement with the Central Project Management Agency (CPMA) for the EU co-financed project entitled " Comprehensive Support to the National Mine Action Sector ", financed under the Instrument for Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation of the European Commission. CTRO, together with the Directorate of Civil Protection is responssible for the implementation of activities under the Component 2 “Support to strengthen humanitarian mine action in Ukraine”, which will include activities related to strengthening the capacity of state operators of mine action in Ukraine by providing strategic and technical support on the integrated management of mine action .
The total value of the component 2 is 1 million euros for a total duration of 18 months with the possibility of extending the project to 2 x 6 months each. The project envisages the implementation of activities for the transfer of the Croatian model of mine action, from the establishment of the mine action legal system, as well as of the transfer of know how and best practices of Croatia.
