Demonstration of the TIRAMISU project results
On 24th September 2015, at SEDEE-DOVO, Belgian military training center, a presentation was held of the tools developed as part of the TIRAMISU Project, financed in the framework of the 7th Framework Programme of the European Union.
HCR-CTRO is among 26 Project partners, responsible for methodology and coordination of validation. Milan Bajić PhD., presented results of the company on the following tasks: coordination of operative validation of the tools in cooperation with CROMAC, development of the method of training honeybees for detection of minefields, hyperspectral non-technical and technical surveys, and the method of non-technical survey of the area after an explosion of an ammunition depot.
The demonstration was attended by representatives of the European Union, Belgian army, countries of the project partners, as well as of the scientific community, led by the Belgian princes Astrid, Special Envoy of the Ottawa Convention. The princess shown special interest in the method of detection of minefields with honeybees, as well as the Project evaluators.
